Rod Raehsler is currently a Professor of Practice with the Department of Economics and Finance at Duquesne University. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Iowa in 1993 with areas in economic history, labor economics, and forecasting. In addition to those areas, he has conducted research in economic education and experimental economics.
Professor Raehsler has been at Duquesne University for a little over a year. He has also taught at Clarion University, Clarke University, and as a visiting professor at the University of Malta. He is a member of the American Economic Association, the Mathematical Association of America, the Cliometric Society, the Pennsylvania Economic Association and the American Statistical Association. He was given the Distinguished Faculty Advisor Award in 2014 from Omicron Delta Epsilon.
