Brian has spent most of his professional career in the metals industry, with over thirty years of industry experience in a wide variety of roles. Brian spent most of his career at United States Steel (USS), where in his 30-year career he worked in numerous functions, including Research and Development, IT, Business Planning, Supply Chain, Marketing, Economics and Revenue Management. While at US Steel, Brian was also a representative to the American Iron and Steel Association (AISI), where he was chair of the Commercial Marketing Committee, and the Worldsteel Association, where he was on the Economic and Economic Forecasting committees. Before US Steel he worked in R&D at the Aluminum Company of America (Alcoa), and later worked for CRU Group, a London-based business intelligence and consulting firm focused on the commodities markets.
